It’s a rainy 50 degree day in West Branch in December, and we are already into organic potting soil production for the 2015 growing season. Some customers choose to stock up early so that they have greater flexibility on when to ramp up production for the year. We special order the bags we use for our 3 cubic foot loose fill bags so that they can withstand the rigors that only an Iowa/Upper Midwest growing season (and a few other places) can provide.
